POWER PAY
We know how easy it is to make a mistake in your checkbook.
And we understand how one little error can result in big problems
if a check is returned unpaid.
That's why we offer Power Pay.
What is Power Pay?
Power Pay is a convenient, automatic overdraft protection plan
available for qualifying checking accounts. The qualifying checking
account must be open and active for sixty days before the Power
Pay service will start.
How does it work?
If you accidentally overdraw your account, Power Pay lets us
cover your checks, preauthorized automatic debits and other
electronic transfers up to $500. Your items won't bounce so
you won't have to pay returned charges to the merchant and you
won't have to worry about a blemish on your credit rating.
There is a small fee of $30 for each item presented which counts
against the $500 limit. More than one overdraft fee may be
charged against the account per day, dependent upon the
number of checks presented on and other withdrawals made
from the account.
A notice will be sent the day a Power Pay occurs and payment
is due immediately.
There are certain circumstances in which the Credit Union will not pay
an overdraft. The account must not have any past due loans, must have
a viable address and must not have a negative or zero balance for
30 days or longer. An overdraft will not be paid on any items
that exceed the $500 limit.
The Power Pay service may be revoked or suspended
for any account that is deemed to be no longer eligible.
How do I sign up?
You don't! If you qualify, Power Pay will be applied to your account
automatically. This service is provided as a courtesy to our
qualified members.
How do I opt out?
If you would like to opt out of the Power Pay program, you
may do so by phone- 407-826-5005 or you may complete
