Credit Unions behave differently from other financial institution. The difference is clear and consistent. You can recognize a credit union by its people-centered action, no matter where you are. They behave differently because they think differently. Driving everything that we do is a set of powerful ideas that make up the credit union philosophy. These ideas are enduring. They have worked for a century and a half.
 
Our belief is that people come first. That honesty with and to our membership is crucial. That all members have equal worth to the credit union and that member participation allows the voice of the people to be heard and heeded.
 
We hold our highest respect and regard for our community and our membership. Central Florida Healthcare FCU was founded in 1955 by a handful of employees of ORH. This endeavor has grown and now serves the financial needs of over 10,000 members in the central part of Florida. As a not-for-profit organization all of the benefits and rewards are returned to the membership. Like all cooperatives, our core characteristics are:
